António Poppe

(Lisbon, 1968) Lives and works in Lisbon.

António Poppe’s artistic education at Ar.Co opened way for him to study in London at the Royal College of Art and later at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he took a master's degree in Performative Art and Cinema.

Since then, Poppe’s activity as an artist and citizen of the world has been materialized by writing books, participating in recitals of poetry, and teaching drawing and meditation. In his words "poetry, drawing and meditation, this is where ninety yarns points to a thread and follows the boreal glow of being an event, to each, love."
